We`re thrilled to share our 2022 Four Siblings Chardonnay was named by @wineenthusiast as one of Top 100 Wines of the year, coming in at #61! 🎉 This is especially meaningful to us as this year we lost the last of the second generation this wine is named in honor of. We know all Four Siblings - Buck, Angelo, Bob and Lorraine - are looking down ecstatic for this recognition!
This chardonnay pays tribute to the second generation of our family who had the vision to make the leap into grapegrowing in 1969, when they planted Green Acres, our very first vineyard. We still farm five acres of these rugged old vines in our Heritage Block, a site of exceptional terroir and tradition. This wine is fermented and aged in a concrete egg, helping to draw out its pure characteristics and natural minerality, while maintaining freshness. The shape of the egg also allows for more lees (yeast leftover from the fermentation process) to remain in suspension, providing greater textural complexity and a truly special Chardonnay. We hope you`ll join us in opening a bottle to celebrate tonight! 🌟
