The Sangiacomo Family and Hospitality Team will be hosting a progressive wine tasting at four unique tasting bars, where you will have the chance to savor six brand-new wines and a few fan favorites. Each station has been carefully selected to offer you an exquisite taste of the wines released in the fall shipment, plus more! You will have the chance to explore each wine’s unique notes and flavor profiles while enjoying the stunning views of the picturesque Home Ranch.

Glen Ellen Star Pizza
We’re thrilled to have the incredible team from a local favorite restaurant, the Glen Ellen Star, joining us for the afternoon! They have received numerous awards for their outstanding service and have a reputation for providing high-quality food and exceptional customer service. Among their many accomplishments and awards, the Glen Ellen Star has recently been recognized by The New York Times and also honored with the prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmand award for ten consecutive years. They will be firing up incredible seasonal pizzas to pair with our wines.
Pizza and Wine!
There are a few reasons why wood-fired pizzas are delicious with wine. The smoky flavor from the wood-fired oven pairs well with the tannins in red wine, enhancing the flavors of both. The acidity in the tomato sauce used on many pizzas is balanced out by the acidity in wine, creating a harmonious taste experience. Finally, the variety of toppings available on pizzas means there is a pizza to pair with almost any type of wine, making it a versatile and enjoyable food to pair with your favorite bottle.
